Have you ever heard an event called the ATLAS MOUNTAIN RACE?
This is a grueling, unsupported ultra-race held in the unpaved Atlas Mountains, which stretch for more than 2,000 kilometers in the south of Morocco, a country where African, Arabian and European cultures are intertwined across the Strait of Gibraltar to Spain.
This year’s the 2020 race will start in the ancient city of Marrakech and follow a route of 1,145km and 20,000m of Altitude through three checkpoints, riding through the Atlas Mountains to Sidi R’bat, a village south of Agadir on the North Atlantic Ocean.
